MOST NOTORIOUS KENT PAEDOPHILE SENTENCED TO 4 YEARS FOR CHILD VOYEURISM
Roshan Rai, 27, of Firs Lane, Folkestone, covertly filmed upskirt videos of school children.
He was convicted of a string of sex offences, including contacting a child online and encouraging her to send nude photos.
He also admitted taking videos covertly inside a communal changing area of a swimming pool, with some footage capturing children as young as three changing into their swimming costumes.
The police were alerted in February 2017 that an 11-year-old was being encouraged to post nude images of herself online.
An investigation revealed the supposed 14-year-old from asking for them was actually Rai.
Officers from the Paedophile Online Investigation Team searched his home and seized a computer, which had thousands of indecent images and videos of children.
Other devices were found with further images, including upskirt photos and screenshots of children taken from social media.
Rai pleaded guilty to three counts of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, along with a charge of causing a child to watch a sexual act, a charge of outraging public decency and a charge of voyeurism.
He was sentenced to four years and two months on November 9.
He also admitted to taking videos secretly inside a swimming pool's changing area, and filming children as young as three, with some footage captured without consent.
