2009: WALL HEATH MAN JAILED AFTER GIRLFRIEND ATTACK
A 35-year-old man from Wall Heath has been sentenced to six months in prison after attacking his former partner in violation of a restraining order.
During the hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court, Judge Michael Challinor highlighted that this was Lamb’s sixth breach of a restraining order and cautioned him to refrain from contacting his ex-partner.
According to his solicitor Blondelle Thompson, Lamb found it difficult to accept that their relationship had ended.
Prosecutor Sati Aujla confirmed that the couple had been together, but following their breakup, Lamb continued to harass her, prompting the issuance of the restraining order.
Despite the restrictions, Lamb visited her home in Dudley, where he threatened her with a knife, grabbed her around the neck, and slapped her face.
Police were called, and Lamb was only detained after a struggle with officers.
He pleaded guilty to breaching the restraining order, assaulting his former girlfriend, and resisting arrest.
