RICHARD FERGUSON OF SITTINGBOURNE ADMITS TO INVASIVE SKIRT-FOOTAGE OFFENSES
In March 2014, Richard Ferguson, aged 25, of Dalewood, Sittingbourne, admitted to secretly following young schoolgirls and filming up their skirts in public spaces.
Ferguson appeared via video link at Medway Magistrates’ Court, where he pleaded guilty to multiple charges.
He confessed to four counts of outraging public decency by recording footage up girls' skirts while they were walking through streets and supermarkets in Sittingbourne.
The incidents occurred on four separate occasions: May 30, May 31, June 6, and September 11, 2013.
Additionally, Ferguson was found in possession of six Level One indecent images of children on December 9, 2013.
The magistrates noted that due to the serious nature of the sex offences involved, the cases warranted being dealt with at the Crown Court.
They therefore transferred the case to Maidstone Crown Court for sentencing.
Ferguson is scheduled to appear there on Wednesday, March 19.
