A resident of York has been sentenced to a community order after admitting to the serious offense of exposing himself to teenage girls in a public area.

Richard Fac, aged 52, was apprehended on North Street, where witnesses reported seeing him in a highly intoxicated state while deliberately exposing his genitals to a group of young girls under the age of 18.

During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Fac believed he was in a secluded part of the street at the time of the incident, which he thought would prevent him from being seen or caught.
