RIAAN HARDY SENTENCED IN ARBROATH FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES AGAINST A CHILD

In April 2016, Riaan Hardy, a 35-year-old resident of RM Condor near Arbroath, was sentenced to three years in prison after admitting to sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl in 2009.

Hardy also forced the girl to watch pornography.

The court was told that he targeted the child over a period of more than two months.

Hardy, who was supported by his partner during the proceedings, was remanded in custody as the sentencing was imminent.
