CARDENDEN MAN'S SECOND CONVICTION FOR STALKING SAME WOMAN
A 48-year-old repeat offender harassed a couple through stalking over a two-week period.
This was Raymond Wilson’s second conviction for stalking the same woman.
Wilson, who lives in Dundonald Park, Cardenden, appeared remotely from jail for his sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He confessed that from March 23 to April 6, in Bowhill and Cardenden, he engaged in stalking conduct directed at the couple.
His actions included repeatedly driving his car along the street past their home, parking behind their house, and sitting inside the vehicle.
Additionally, he visited their back garden, left an Easter egg with a note attached at their doorstep, and made a hand signal towards them.
Defence lawyer Iain Loach noted that his client had previously committed a similar offence against the same woman in 2020.
Sheriff Krista Johnston sentenced Wilson to a community payback order requiring 240 hours of unpaid work and one year of supervision.
He was also issued a ten-year non-harassment order to safeguard the couple.
