MAN JAILED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING TWO WOMEN
Raigal Ahmad received a 14-month prison sentence at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday, June 9, after admitting to two counts of sexual assault. He was acquitted of a charge of assault by beating.
The court was informed that Ahmad, aged 35 and residing on Gerald Road in Salford, committed sexual assaults on two women during separate incidents in Warrington town centre, occurring in July 2024 and January 2025.
The first incident took place on 19 July 2024, when Ahmad approached a 41-year-old woman in a nightclub and inappropriately touched her without her consent.
Even after she moved his hands away, he continued to make unwanted contact.
The second incident happened on 26 January 2025 at a bar, where witnesses saw Ahmad loitering outside and making unwanted advances towards a group of women.

While inside, he touched the bottom of a 36-year-old woman, which escalated into a physical confrontation.
Police were called, and Ahmad was arrested as he tried to leave in a taxi.
While in custody, Ahmad denied following the women, claiming his presence at both locations was coincidental and that he had not stalked them.
He admitted to touching the 36-year-old woman, stating they had been joking and that he had playfully tapped her thigh.
In a separate interview regarding the nightclub incident from July 2024, Ahmad denied any wrongdoing.
Although he initially pleaded not guilty, he changed his plea to guilty in May 2026.
He was sentenced to prison and also ordered to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
Furthermore, he was subject to a five-year Restraining Order prohibiting contact with both victims.
