March 2017 Man had pornographic images of human corpses and animals A MAN has been jailed after police found hundreds of indecent images of children and some extreme pornographic images involving human corpses and images of beastiality on his computer equipment. Przemyslaw Majchrzak, 33, of St Mary’s Avenue, Hemingbrough, also possessed extreme pornographic images of animals. York Crown Court heard that a search warrant was executed at a property in Ousegate, Selby, on November 11, 2014, where Majchrzak was living at the time. Police seized and examined computer equipment, including three laptops, four memory cards and a computer tower. The court was told that a total of 530 indecent images were found and 27 indecent movies, with 60 of the pictures and 14 of the movies classed in the most severe category. In addition, 36 extreme pornographic images and two extreme pornographic movies were discovered. Lisa McCormich, prosecuting, said that the children in the indecent images and movies were between the ages of three and 17. After Majchrzak was arrested, he was released on bail, but fled the country and returned to Poland for nearly a year, and had to be extradited back to England. Judge Andrew Stubbs QC said: “There were a high volume of images of children, including moving images. “Some of the images contained children as young as three being abused in the most dreadful way, causing them to suffer for the rest of their lives. “There were also images showing abuse of animals and abuse of dead bodies. All these were stored on your computer.” Majchrzak had previously pleaded guilty to seven counts of making indecent photographs of children and two counts of possession of extreme pornographic images. He was sentenced to a total of 13 months in prison, given a sexual harm prevention order and placed on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years.
