Phillip Mutch, a 40-year-old man residing on Orchard Way in Wem, Shropshire, has been handed a prison sentence of two and a half years after pleading guilty to multiple serious charges related to domestic violence. The court found him guilty of one count of controlling and coercive behaviour, a form of abuse that involves manipulating and dominating a partner over an extended period, as well as five counts of assault causing actual bodily harm, which indicates injuries that required medical attention.
