PHILLIP GASSON FELTHAM MAN TO BE SENTENCED FOR CHILD ABUSE IMAGE OFFENSES AT KINGSTON CROWN COURT
In a significant development at Kingston Crown Court, a man from Feltham, identified as Phillip Gasson, is scheduled to face sentencing next month after he pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to the creation and distribution of child abuse images.Gasson, aged 32 and residing on Rochester Avenue in Feltham, appeared before the court today to admit guilt on three counts of making indecent images of a child.
His plea came during a hearing where the Crown Prosecutor chose not to pursue evidence on three additional charges of possessing indecent images of a child, which Gasson has denied.
According to court records, Gasson’s home was searched in February, leading to the discovery of evidence that contributed to his guilty pleas.
In July, he had already admitted to one count of making indecent images of a child and two counts of distributing such images.
These admissions form the basis of the six charges he will be sentenced for, with the hearing scheduled for October 16 at Kingston Crown Court.
The case highlights ongoing concerns about child exploitation and the importance of law enforcement efforts to combat such crimes.
In a separate incident that occurred earlier today, authorities arrested a school caretaker on suspicion of engaging in sexual activity with an under-age girl, although this case is unrelated to Gasson’s proceedings.
