PHILIP STURDY NORWICH POLICE WORKER SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND DRUGGING CASE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the Norwich community, Philip Sturdy, a 39-year-old former employee of Norfolk Constabulary, has been convicted and sentenced for heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse and drugging of young girls.The offences came to light in May of this year, leading to a thorough investigation that uncovered a series of deeply troubling acts committed by Sturdy.
Sturdy, who previously worked for Norfolk Constabulary for 18 years until just a month before his arrest, was found to have lured three young girls to his residence in Norwich, where he administered sedative drugs, including Ketamine, through their food or drinks.
The purpose of this was to render the victims unconscious or deeply asleep, providing him with the opportunity to sexually assault them without resistance.
The court heard that he also sexually abused three other victims while they were asleep, further compounding the severity of his crimes.
Prosecutor Lindsay Cox detailed the extent of the abuse, revealing that one of the victims reported feeling
