August 2019: Released and back living in Houghton Le Spring October 2017 Paedophile sentenced for offences against young children A paedophile has been sentenced for a series of sexual offences against two young girls Peter Thomas Fenwick of Houghton Le Spring, appeared at his hearing at Newcastle Crown Court where he was found guilty of three counts of indecent assault against a child aged under 13 years old The court was told that the two victims were aged just nine and five years old The offences took place in Houghton Le Spring during the 1980’s when Fenwick was in his late teens The judge sentenced Fenwick to a total of three & half years Fenwick must also register as a sex offender for life
