PETER ENGLAND FROM CHADLINGTON SENTENCED TO 11 YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN OXFORDSHIRE

In a case that has shocked the local community, Peter England, a 39-year-old resident of Quarry Road in Chadlington, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term after being convicted of serious sexual offences involving a minor.

The conviction followed an extensive eight-day trial at Oxford Crown Court in November of the previous year, where a majority jury found England guilty of two counts of rape and one count of engaging in sexual activity with a child.

On the day of sentencing, which took place at The Old Bailey in London, England received a sentence of eleven years behind bars.
