SOMERSET MAN PETER BAWDEN PLEADS GUILTY TO CHILD SEX OFFENCES
In Somerset, Peter Bawden has admitted guilt to charges related to child exploitation and indecent material, with his sentencing scheduled for February 24th, 2026, at North Somerset Magistrates Court.His offences include engaging in sexual conversations with a minor between December 8th and December 14th, 2022, and possessing explicit extreme pornographic images that featured acts involving animals, whether deceased or alive, between January 11th and December 14th, 2022.
He also attempted to contact an adult under the guise of being a child from December 9th to December 14th, 2022.
Additionally, he engaged in sexual exchanges with a minor from December 6th to December 14th, 2022.
This case was supported by the work of decoy units from London—Angel, Rose, and Fitz—as part of their ongoing anti-crime operations.
