Tracey Kidd, aged 57, was tragically killed by her controlling partner, Paul Vissers, in March of last year.
She was found at a property in Charnwood Street, London, following concerns for her safety.
The post-mortem confirmed she died from a head injury.
Vissers, 41, admitted manslaughter and was sentenced to a 10-year extended prison term—six years in custody plus four years on license—at Wood Green Crown Court on July 6.
The victim's sister, Gina, expressed her disgust at the sentence, fearing Vissers might kill again.
She said, 'He will go on and do this to someone else.' Gina also emphasized the importance of ending abusive relationships early, urging others to 'get out' while they can.
Vissers is currently incarcerated, and Gina is relieved he is in prison for now, although she fears he may reoffend.
The family mourns Tracey, describing her as a 'bundle of fun' and noting the community's shock at her loss.
