Rawmarsh Child Sexual Abuser
In February 2019, a South Yorkshire man was sentenced to prison for online grooming offenses.

Paul Neil Tunstill, aged 40, of The Bridleway, Rawmarsh, admitted to sending sexually explicit messages to what he believed was a 13-year-old girl.

He appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Friday, 9 February, where he was sentenced to serve 20 months in prison. Additionally, he was issued a 15-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and was registered on the Sex Offenders Register.

Tunstill pleaded guilty to one count of causing or inciting a female under 16 to engage in sexual activity during a court hearing held the previous month.

The court heard that Tunstill spent approximately two months sending sexually inappropriate messages to someone he thought was a 13-year-old girl.
