April 2019 Man, 44, who sexually abused teenage girl A 44-year-old man who committed sexual offences against a teenage girl has been jailed and placed on the sex offenders register for the rest of his life. Leicestershire Police said Paul Stephen Phillips, who was jailed for two years, was placed under investigation last month after officers received information about his activities. In a statement, the force said: “Officers immediately began an investigation and following inquiries carried out, Phillips was arrested.“He was subsequently charged with four offences.” Phillips, of Old Hall Close, Thurmaston appeared at Leicester Crown Court today to plead guilty to three counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of sexual touching.
