March 2016 Pervert had indecent images of children An Edinburgh man avoided a jail sentence after pleading guilty to taking and possessing indecent images of children. Paul McSorley, 50, pleaded guilty to the offences, that took place at address in Wardieburn, at an earlier hearing. Today at Edinburgh sheriff court he was placed on a supervision order for three years and had his named added to the Sex Offenders Register for three years. Court papers show the offences took place between September 2009 and July 2014. Court papers stated “During the stated period you did have in your possession indecent photogaphs of Children. “During this stated period you did take or permit to be taken indecent photographs of children.” It’s understood McSorley no longer lives in Edinburgh.
