PAUL LANGTON FROM BEAUMONT LEYS INVOLVED IN HORRIFIC DOG SEX CRIME IN LEICESTER

In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, Paul William Langton, a 51-year-old lorry driver residing in Beaumont Leys, Leicester, has been linked to heinous acts involving sexual abuse of dogs. The incident came to light after a son, who had inadvertently come across a video depicting his father engaging in sexual acts with dogs, decided to report him to the police, leading to a series of legal proceedings.

According to court records, Langton was filmed by himself carrying out what prosecutors described as “disgusting” behavior with two dogs—a black Labrador and a brown mongrel. The footage, which contained explicit images and was suggestive of sexual acts with the animals, was discovered after a heated argument between Langton and his son. The son, who lives in Leicester but prefers to remain anonymous, had seen the video by chance and was so appalled by what he witnessed that he took the tape directly to a local police station.

During the court hearing at Leicester Crown Court, Langton pleaded guilty to charges of allowing three male dogs to have sex with him over a span of three decades, from 1974 to 2004. Prosecutor Barbara Graham described the evidence as “disturbing,” emphasizing that the video showed explicit images of sexual acts involving dogs, and that Langton had actively participated in these acts. The court was also informed that Langton had engaged in other related acts involving the animals.

In his police interview, Langton, who is from Beaumont Leys, admitted that the incidents had occurred a long time ago. He expressed remorse, stating that he had tried to forget about the events because he knew they were wrong. The judge, Michael Pert QC, acknowledged the severity of the crimes, describing them as “disgusting,” but clarified that, under sentencing guidelines, such offenses do not automatically warrant a prison sentence. The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to consider alternative sentencing options, including treatment programs.

Langton was remanded into custody and is scheduled for sentencing next month. Outside the courtroom, his son, who is 32 years old and lives in Leicester, spoke about his father’s condition, describing him as “rather sick and in need of help.” He recounted that he used to care for a pet dog, which was a female, and expressed relief that nothing happened to that dog. The son speculated that his father might have been influenced by disturbing media, possibly films like “Animal Farm,” although he did not confirm this.

He explained that he handed over the video to authorities because his father was spreading false accusations about him after a disagreement over money. The son emphasized that, while the acts are not comparable to child abuse, animals cannot speak out or seek help, which motivated him to report his father’s actions. He also revealed that one of the dogs involved was on a lead while his father was bent over a sofa, unable to escape the situation.

Concluding his statement, the son expressed shame about his familial connection, saying, “I’m a bit ashamed that some people know I’m related to him. I hope he gets help and sorts himself out.” The case continues to draw attention to the serious issue of animal abuse and the importance of intervention and justice in such disturbing cases.
