In December 2016, a man identified as Paul Hicks, residing in Sprowston, was brought to justice after authorities uncovered a disturbing collection of indecent images involving children.

Hicks, aged 59 and living on St.

Margaret's Drive in Sprowston, faced serious charges related to the possession and distribution of illicit material.

Police officers executed a search warrant at Hicks' residence after receiving intelligence that he was actively involved in swapping and disseminating indecent images of minors.

During the raid, law enforcement seized his laptop, which was believed to contain evidence of his illicit activities.
