Upper Beeding Sexual Abuser
In April 2018, Paul Da Vall, aged 37, a resident of School Road in Upper Beeding, faced legal consequences after admitting to serious charges related to child exploitation. The court found him guilty of possessing indecent photographs, including two images classified as Category A, which denote the most severe level of explicit material involving children, and one image categorized as Category C. These charges highlight the disturbing nature of the material involved and the gravity of the offense.

Following his admission, the court imposed a community order on Da Vall, which included a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement aimed at addressing his behavior and preventing future offenses. Additionally, he was mandated to complete 200 hours of unpaid work, emphasizing the seriousness with which the judicial system treats such crimes.

To further protect the public and prevent recurrence, a sexual harm prevention order was issued against him. This order restricts his activities and access to certain online content, serving as a safeguard for potential victims. As part of his sentencing, Da Vall was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs amounting to £250, covering the expenses incurred during the legal process.

These measures reflect the court’s firm stance on child exploitation offenses and its commitment to safeguarding vulnerable individuals from harm.
