December 2019 Cheshire man jailed for over four years for taking indecent photographs of a child A man from Cheshire has been sentenced to serve over four years in jail for taking indecent photographs of a child. Paul Bradbury-Ford, of Wilmer Crescent in Mow Cop – near the Cheshire-Staffordshire border – was sentenced at Chester Crown Court on Friday, December 6. The 49-year-old was handed a total prison sentence of 51 months for 10 offences. Bradbury-Ford was charged with three counts of making indecent photographs of a child, one count of taking indecent photographs of a child, one count of possession of indecent photographs of a child and one count of possession of prohibited image of a child. He was also charged with three counts of assisting the commission of an either way offence and distributing indecent photographs of a child. The 49-year-old will serve 51 months in prison. The forfeiture and destruction of his laptop and mobile phone was also ordered. He was also put on the sex offenders register indefinitely and was given a sexual harm and prevention order indefinitely. He is also prohibited from using a computer or device capable of accessing the internet, unless he tells police three working days prior. The police have the right to complete random checks on the device at any point.
