OFFENDER IGNORES COURT ORDER, WALKS INTO WOMAN’S HOME UNINVITED
A man named Patryk Kiedrowicz is involved in a criminal case where he has breached a court order. He was specifically banned from contacting his female victim, but he blatantly disregarded this by walking into her home uninvited.
According to Inverness Sheriff Court, Kiedrowicz was "simply not taking no for an answer" and his behavior was considered so problematic that he has now been ordered to report all future relationships to a supervising officer, under a new legal order.
These events came to light on September 17, when witnesses in a property in Muir of Ord heard a door handle rattling, as if someone was trying to force entry.
The front door was opened, and Kiedrowicz entered the living room without permission.
Witnesses challenged him to leave, which he did after appearing surprised to see others inside.
Police were contacted immediately, and during their attempt to arrest him, Kiedrowicz resisted, pulling his arms away and struggling with officers before being handcuffed and taken into custody.
The court heard that he had previously been issued a non-harassment order in April of the previous year, which he breached on this occasion, alongside charges of threatening behavior and resisting police.
His defense lawyer argued that his actions were driven by a misguided attempt to seek mental health help, believing that prison was the only place to receive adequate care.
Kiedrowicz had spent three months on remand for these offenses and there have been no subsequent incidents.
Sheriff Eilidh MacDonald expressed concern about his repeated offenses, noting that he refuses to accept a no.
As a result, she imposed a community payback order for a year, requiring him to complete a decider skills program and to inform his supervising officer of any future relationships.
