Isle of Sheppey Child Sexual Abuser
A man identified as Oscar Robinson, who has no fixed address but is known to have connections to the Isle of Sheppey, has been swiftly convicted following a thorough investigation conducted by Kent Police. The incident in question took place on Saturday, 15 March 2025, when Robinson was found to have sent multiple unsolicited messages to young girls through a messaging application. These messages contained sexually explicit language, and Robinson also sent a video in which he exposed himself, further demonstrating predatory behavior.

Concerned parents in Queenborough became aware of the disturbing communications and promptly alerted authorities around 5:30 pm that evening. Responding swiftly to these reports, Kent Police officers visited an address in Queenborough to assess the situation and gather evidence. Their inquiries led to the arrest of Robinson in the Ridham Avenue area of Kemsley on the following day, Sunday, 16 March.

Following his arrest, Robinson, aged 35, was formally charged with engaging in sexual communication with a minor. The legal proceedings moved quickly, and Robinson appeared before Medway magistrates on Tuesday, 18 March, where he entered a guilty plea to the charges against him.

Detective Constable Jodie Rowson commented on the case, emphasizing the serious nature of such behavior. She stated, 'Predatory behaviour such as that displayed by Robinson can have a significant impact on victims and I would like to praise the courage of the girls in this case for coming forward.' She also urged other victims of sexual grooming to come forward and report their experiences to the police, ensuring that such cases are fully investigated and that offenders are held accountable in court.

Robinson is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday, 9 May, and the outcome of that hearing will determine the final legal consequences of his actions.
