January 2021 Pervert dad-of-six snared by undercover cop posing as young girl A married father-of-six asked a 12-year-old girl to send him sexualised pictures of herself and told her he would teach her what he liked to do in bed. Derby Crown Court hard how perverted Norris Spencer sent Caitlyn photos of his private parts after befriending her online. The civil engineer also sent her messages telling her she was “cute” and that he wondered if she would perform oral sex on him. But the girl was really an undercover police officer pretending to be Caitlyn and the 38-year-old was snared. Judge Nirmal Shant QC adjourned the hearing so that additional information could be gathered from a psychologist. She said: “These are serious matters and the question of the risk you pose to young children is one the court needs to consider very carefully. “You mustn’t think this adjournment means custody is not the first thought on the courts mind. This was a course of conduct.” Katrina Wilson, prosecuting, said the offending took place over a number of weeks during August 2019. She said Spencer, of Chesterfield, befriending Caitlyn over an internet messaging service and very soon his conversation with her turned highly sexualised. Miss Wilson said: “He told her he was a 19-year-old girl and encouraged her to send him a photo which she did of her face. “He told her ‘**** you’re cute’ and he said they should have sex some time and that if she was a good girl he would teach her what he liked to do. “He asked her what she was wearing and told her to send photos of her with her trackie bottoms pulled down so he could see her pants and her top pulled up so he could see her bra. “He then sent her pictures of his private parts.” Miss Wilson said at that stage the police went to his address where he and his wife were present. She said he told him they would find “what they wanted” on his mobile phone and they seized it. She said:”He told them ‘I have chatted and looked at pictures but I have never touched anyone’.” Spencer, of Mellor Way, Birdholme, pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
