A man began stalking a 14-year-old girl regularly from December 2024, targeting her during lunch breaks.He would pass by in his vehicle, staring at her repeatedly.
This unsettling pattern continued on a daily basis.
After the school holidays in January, the behavior resumed, prompting the girl to inform her mother.
Her mother suggested consulting the school police officer, leading to a covert operation that caught the man in the act.
He was formally charged on January 16th at Clydebank police station with the offense of stalking.
The court ordered a 24-week supervised community payback scheme, which included an 8 pm to 7 am curfew and a ban on being around anyone under 17 years old.
