THREE MEN INCLUDING NOEL/ROBERT HUTTON AND ALVIN MUSCHETTE SENTENCED IN LONDON FOR LONG-TERM RAPE OF TEENAGE GIRL
In July 2017, three men—including brothers Noel Hutton, aged 65, of Newham Close, Northolt, and Robert Hutton, aged 63, of Creighton Close, Hammersmith, along with 55-year-old Alvin Muschette of Curzon Crescent, Brent—were convicted and sentenced for a prolonged period of sexual abuse against a teenage girl. The victims knew the offenders’ families, and the abuse occurred over three years from 1987 to 1990, when the girl was between 12 and 15 years old.
Noel Hutton exploited his relationship with the victim’s family to carry out the abuse, with both brothers attacking the girl, alongside Muschette.
All three men were convicted of rape and sentenced at Harrow Crown Court on July 21.
The court heard that the assaults took place across various locations in Brent over the three-year period.
The crimes were reported to police in June 2015, prompting an immediate investigation by specialist officers.
During this investigation, the girl revealed she had become pregnant due to the assaults.
Initially, her family dismissed her allegations, believing she was pregnant by her boyfriend.
The girl subsequently underwent an abortion while still in her early teens.
In June 2015, she found the strength to report the abuse to police and provided a statement.
Following the investigation, all three men faced charges of rape on October 31, 2016.
After a 14-day trial, they were found guilty on July 13.
Robert Hutton was sentenced to five years in prison, Noel Hutton received a seven-year sentence, and Muschette was handed an eight-year prison term.
