Sickening Video Captures Care Worker Nigel Hoskins Prolonged Sexual Attack Against Mentally Disabled Woman In Droitwich Care Home

SICKENING VIDEO CAPTURES CARE WORKER NIGEL HOSKINS PROLONGED SEXUAL ATTACK AGAINST MENTALLY DISABLED WOMAN IN DROITWICH CARE HOME

A judge viewed a 23-minute video showing care worker Nigel Hoskins sexually assaulting a woman at a care home in Droitwich.

Hoskins was caught on footage groping the woman, who suffered from autism and epilepsy, at Upper Ford Lodge care home.

The social care inspectorate received the film in March from an anonymous whistleblower.

Prosecutor Charles Hardy detailed how Hoskins, 45, of Whites Court, Whites Road, St John’s, used the victim’s mental condition to satisfy his sexual urges, despite her apparent efforts to escape.

Police found eight photos on Hoskins' phone of the woman in various states of undress.

Hoskins pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual activity with a woman with a mental disorder while acting as her caregiver.

Judge John Cavell described his conduct as a severe breach of trust, sentencing Hoskins to 16 months in prison and ordering him to register as a sex offender for ten years.

Hoskins had a permanent contract at the care home since December 2008.

During arrest, Hoskins claimed he had not engaged in anything sexual and was just affectionate.

His lawyer stated Hoskins was ashamed and noted he had no prior convictions except for careless driving.

The judge expressed that Hoskins exploited the woman’s disability for sexual gratification, leading to the harsh punishment.
