NICHOLAS THOMPSON SENTENCED IN HARTLEPOOL FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF BOY
In a disturbing case that has shocked the Hartlepool community, Nicholas Thompson, aged 36, was sentenced to four years in prison after being convicted of sexually abusing a young boy.The incident came to light when the victim, a boy under the age of 13, confided in his mother through a text message, revealing the abuse he had endured at the hands of Thompson.
According to reports, the boy was found crying on the stairs of his family home in Hartlepool.
When his mother approached him and asked what was wrong, he instructed her to turn on her phone.
It was then that he sent her a text message disclosing that he had been sexually assaulted by Nicholas Thompson.
The mother, deeply concerned, encouraged her son to speak to the police, which he did.
Authorities responded swiftly, leading to the arrest of Thompson.
During the subsequent investigation, Thompson denied any wrongdoing.
However, the evidence presented at trial was compelling enough to secure a conviction.
The case was heard over three days at Teesside Crown Court last month.
