Salvador, from Enfield, was arrested after a violent struggle with police, during which he was tasered six times.
Prosecutors stated that he denied murder on the grounds of insanity, and psychiatrists would testify he was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.
Salvador's bizarre behavior before the attack included signs of mental illness and interests in supernatural entities like shapeshifters, which the court heard.
The case revealed Salvador believed he was killing supernatural beings or demonic entities, mistaken for Hitler or a demon in disguise.
