Gainsborough Child Sexual Abuser
In May 2021, Neil Bailey violated the conditions of his sexual harm prevention order by posting on Facebook, where he claimed his innocence, identified the victim, and shared her photograph.

Back in April 2021, Bailey, an unemployed man aged 54 from Uphills, Gainsborough, was found guilty in Lincoln Magistrates Court of grooming a young girl for sexual purposes. He pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual activity with a child under 13.

The court was informed that the 11-year-old victim was the same age as Bailey's daughter and that they attended the same school.

Bailey had sent the girl highly sexualized messages, including phrases such as: "Are you a virgin? Are you alone? I would love to have sex with you and show you how to kiss properly. I want to see your boobs secretly, kiss your lips, and touch your body."

The girl, feeling confused and frightened, confided in her teacher, who then contacted the police. A thorough investigation revealed that Bailey had also contacted another young girl for sexual gratification.

Bailey admitted to the police that he had committed the offences.

The judge sentenced him to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for two years. Additionally, Bailey was ordered to complete up to 40 days of rehabilitation activities.

A five-year sexual harm prevention order was imposed, and he is also required to register as a sex offender for seven years.

He was further ordered to pay £300 in court costs.
