EDINBURGH PAINTER NATHANIEL CLARK SENTENCED FOR RAPE AND ABUSE IN SHOCKING CASE
In a disturbing series of crimes that have shocked the community of Edinburgh, 21-year-old Nathaniel Clark has been convicted of multiple serious offences, including the rape of two teenage girls, sexual assault, and acts of threatening behaviour.The heinous acts took place over a period spanning from January 2015 to December of an unspecified year, with Clark’s actions leaving a trail of trauma and fear among his victims.
Clark’s depraved conduct was brought to light during a court hearing, where it was revealed that he had subjected one of the teenage girls to physical restraint by tying her up with cable ties.
He also made disturbing comments online, referring to one of his victims as a “scared posh little bitch,” and told another girl after an incident of sexual assault, “If anyone asks you, raped me.” These chilling remarks underscore the malicious intent behind his actions and his blatant disregard for the victims’ well-being.
One of the victims, who initially reached out for help after her ordeal, recounted how Clark’s controlling behaviour intensified after she turned 16.
She described how he had tied her up and found it amusing, even laughing during the incident.
The girl detailed how Clark’s behaviour became increasingly erratic and violent, including smashing up a flat in a fit of rage, which she described as “really overwhelming” and “acting crazy.” Her account detailed multiple assaults, during which Clark repeatedly punched and slapped her, forcing her to punch herself on the head while he recorded her crying.
In one particularly frightening episode, he grabbed her by the throat and pushed her against a wall.
The victim recounted her horror, saying, “He stopped because he said to me ‘You are probably enjoying this’.” Throughout the trial, Clark denied the allegations, but the court found him guilty of 12 separate crimes, including the two counts of rape, sexual assault, threats, and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
As a result of his conviction, Clark has been ordered to register as a sex offender.
The sentencing has been deferred, pending further legal proceedings, but the severity of his crimes has left a lasting impact on the victims and the community of Edinburgh.
