A police officer convicted of using a pet surveillance camera to monitor women has received a prison sentence for sharing 'revenge porn' images.
PC Nathan Collings was described as being motivated by misogyny and prevented victims from maintaining contact with their family and friends.
He pleaded guilty to charges including stalking, making two threats to reveal private sexual photos or videos, and engaging in three counts of controlling and coercive conduct.
The 34-year-old officer from Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent, was sentenced to two years and six months in prison by Swansea Crown Court.
Evidence presented to the court revealed that he used tracking applications to follow victims’ phones and employed a pet camera to spy on two women.
In one instance, he tracked a woman to her home, took her keys without permission, and entered her residence.
He also kept tabs on her social media activity and watched her residence from outside his vehicle.
