MUHAMMAD HUSSAIN AND SHOCKING SEX OFFENCES IN MANCHESTER AND BURY

Muhammad Hussain, a 20-year-old man from Manchester, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term after being convicted of multiple heinous sex offences committed against young girls in Bury.

The court proceedings revealed a disturbing pattern of predatory behavior targeting vulnerable teenage girls, with Hussain showing no remorse for his actions.

Hussain was handed a sentence of six years and two months after a jury found him guilty of raping a 14-year-old girl and sexually assaulting another girl of the same age.

These offences occurred over a period spanning from August 2016 to August 2017, highlighting a sustained period of criminal activity.

The court heard that Hussain would frequently meet with a group of teenage girls in Openshaw Park, located in Bury.

During these meetings, he would often buy vodka for the girls, facilitating an environment conducive to his abusive behavior.

After socializing in the park, Hussain would sometimes accompany the girls to the home of one of the victims, further exploiting their trust and vulnerability.

At the time of the first offence, Hussain was only 16 years old.

In August 2016, he committed a rape against an extremely vulnerable girl who was known to social services and classified as being at high risk of child sexual exploitation.

Prosecutor Henry Blackshaw detailed that the girl had invited Hussain to a house party at a friend’s residence.

The gathering involved alcohol consumption, and Hussain and the girl shared a kiss before she was encouraged to go upstairs with him.

Once in an upstairs bedroom, the girl initially engaged in consensual sexual activity with Hussain.

However, she soon expressed discomfort, repeatedly asking him to slow down because it was hurting her.

Despite her pleas, Hussain forcibly pushed her head into a pillow and continued the assault.

The girl then began crying and told him to stop, but Hussain persisted.

When she managed to free herself and started to get dressed, Hussain insulted her, calling her a “f****** bitch” and told her to “finish me off.” Feeling pressured, the girl returned to the room and asked Hussain what she was supposed to do.

He then threatened to tell her on-off boyfriend that they had had sex if she did not comply with his demands.

Following the incident, Hussain contacted the girl to apologize and even begged her to send pictures of her bottom, which she refused.

Between March and May 2017, Hussain also filmed the girl and her friend performing oral sex on him, further demonstrating his predatory behavior.

The victim later expressed a desire to forget the incident, and it was not until eight months later that she disclosed the rape to social workers.

She was interviewed by police in February 2018 as part of an operation codenamed Burgos, which was investigating child sexual exploitation in Bury.

In a separate incident in August 2017, Hussain approached a 14-year-old girl and her friend while they were in Openshaw Park.

He put his hand down the friend’s leggings and forcibly yanked her underwear up, grabbing her bottom with such force that it caused pain and left fingernail-shaped impressions.

During police interviews, Hussain admitted to having sex with the first victim but claimed it was consensual.

He denied recording the oral sex acts or sexually assaulting the girl in Openshaw Park.

Meanwhile, another individual, Muhammad Hashim, was also involved in the case.

Hashim’s phone was seized after his arrest in October 2017 for driving offences, revealing videos of a young, intoxicated female being sexually contacted by a man in a park, with others cheering them on.

One video showed a girl asking if she was being recorded, to which she was told it was just a torch.

Another video depicted an older male having sex with a young female while others gathered around.

Hashim was identified as the cameraman due to a distinctive watch visible in the footage.

He was arrested at Manchester Airport in July 2019 after returning from Pakistan and refused to answer police questions.

Following a trial, Muhammad Hussain, residing on South Cross Street in Bury, was convicted of two counts of rape, one count of taking an indecent image, and another of sexual assault.

Recorder Jeremy Lasker condemned Hussain for exploiting a highly vulnerable victim and showed no signs of remorse.

He emphasized that what began as consensual activity had turned into something much more sinister, with Hussain ignoring the girl’s pleas to stop and prioritizing his own gratification over her well-being.

The judge highlighted the serious breach of trust and the lasting impact of Hussain’s actions on his victims.
