Luton Rapist
A police officer from Luton has been found guilty of multiple serious sexual offenses, including rape and grooming, in connection with his exploitation of underage girls through social media platforms. The individual, Mohammad Arshad, aged 35, was responsible for causing significant harm to a total of 12 victims over a period spanning from 2012 to 2014.

During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Arshad used his position of authority and trust as both a police trainee and later as a police officer to target vulnerable underage girls in Luton. His methods involved grooming these young victims through online communication, where he sent them sexually explicit messages, manipulating and coercing them into engaging in inappropriate and illegal activities.

At least one girl was physically abused by Arshad, adding a disturbing physical dimension to his crimes. The court heard evidence of his exploitation of his professional status to gain the trust of his victims, making his actions even more egregious given his role in law enforcement.

Mohammad Arshad faced a total of 17 charges, which included serious offenses such as rape, grooming, and the distribution of child abuse images. The severity of his crimes and the breach of trust placed in him as a police officer led to a substantial sentence. He was ultimately convicted on all counts and will now be subject to supervision as a sex offender, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities to protect the community.

His case has sent shockwaves through the local community in Luton, highlighting the dangers of abuse of authority and the importance of vigilance in safeguarding vulnerable individuals from exploitation and harm.
