HARLOW MAN MIHALLY TOTH ADMITS TO DOWNLOADING HUNDREDS OF CHILD INDECENT IMAGES AND GERMAN SHEPHERD PORN

In a serious case that has shocked the community of Harlow, Essex, Mihaly Toth, a 31-year-old resident of Miles Close, has pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to the possession and download of illegal and highly disturbing images. The charges, which were formally admitted in Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, March 7, detail the extent of his involvement in the distribution and viewing of indecent material involving children and a German Shepherd dog.

According to court records, Toth downloaded a total of 358 images over a period spanning from December 24, 2014, to January 15 of this year. Among these, a significant number—288 images—are classified as Category A, indicating the most severe level of indecency and harm. The remaining images include 53 in Category B, 15 in Category C, along with one prohibited image and a single extreme pornographic image. These images were stored across 35 different devices, all of which are now scheduled for destruction as part of the legal proceedings.

Prosecutor Philip Pearson outlined the circumstances of the case, stating, "On May 14 last year, police attended an address which is a multiple occupancy building in Harlow. Mr. Toth was present at the scene and was spoken to by officers. During the investigation, authorities received information indicating that he was downloading images of children. He immediately admitted responsibility and made significant admissions during the police interview."

The court heard that Toth's actions were motivated by a desire to suppress his paedophilic tendencies, as he reportedly told police. The case has been adjourned for further proceedings at Chelmsford Crown Court, with a hearing scheduled for the week beginning April 4. Until then, Toth has been ordered to report to Harlow police station every Monday and is also subject to restrictions preventing him from having unsupervised contact with children.
