HEBBURN PERVERT MICHAEL WILLIAMS ESCAPES JAIL OVER ANIMAL PORN VIDEOS IN REDE AVENUE

In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community of Hebburn, Michael Williams, a 74-year-old resident of Rede Avenue, found himself at the center of a serious criminal investigation involving the possession of extreme and illegal pornography. The case came to light after police executed a search warrant at his home on December 16 of the previous year, as part of a broader operation known as Project Spade, which was initiated by Canadian authorities to combat internet-based pornography crimes.

During the raid, officers seized various electronic devices, including Williams' computer, which contained a disturbing collection of videos. Among these were five videos depicting acts of bestiality involving women and dogs, a revelation that has caused widespread outrage and concern. Williams admitted to viewing these videos, claiming he was unaware that possessing such material was illegal. He stated to investigators that he did not realize the content was an offence, despite the explicit nature of the videos.

Investigators initially arrived at Williams' Hebburn residence with the intention of searching for illegal images involving minors, specifically teenage boys. However, their search yielded no such material. Instead, they discovered the five beastiality videos, which they described as involving adult women engaging in sexual acts with dogs. Prosecutor Tom Moran explained to Newcastle Crown Court that Williams was interviewed following his arrest and confessed to viewing videos involving animals and women, including horses. Despite his claims of not being sexually aroused by the material, the evidence was deemed sufficiently serious to warrant legal proceedings.

Williams, who has a criminal history that includes convictions for indecent assault and making indecent photographs, has not been in trouble with the law since 2001. Nevertheless, his past convictions and the nature of the current offence led to a court appearance where he pleaded guilty to possessing five sets of extreme pornographic images. The court was informed that Williams has previously served time in prison, although he has maintained a relatively clean record in recent years.

Judge Sean Morris presided over the case and sentenced Williams to a community order for three years, which includes supervision requirements. The judge emphasized the importance of rehabilitation and cautioned Williams to take advantage of the opportunity to avoid further legal trouble. He remarked, “For goodness’ sake take advantage of this and do not fall foul of the law again,” underscoring the seriousness of the offence and the need for caution moving forward.

In a related case from September 2014, Williams faced similar allegations involving the possession of videos depicting sex acts between women and dogs. That case was also linked to the ongoing Canadian investigation into internet pornography crimes. During that earlier incident, police seized Williams’ computer during a raid on his Hebburn home, revealing the disturbing content. Williams admitted to viewing the videos but claimed ignorance of their illegal status. Magistrates in South Tyneside, where the case was initially heard, decided that the matter was too serious for their sentencing powers and referred the case to Newcastle Crown Court. A hearing was scheduled for September 25, with Williams granted bail under strict conditions, including restrictions on his use of electronic devices and internet access.
