MICHAEL NICHOLLS FROM HIGH WYCOMBE SENTENCED TO EIGHT YEARS FOR CHILD SEX ABUSE IN THE 1980S
In a significant case that has brought justice to victims of past abuse, Michael Nicholls, a 73-year-old resident of Amersham Hill in High Wycombe, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a series of serious sexual offenses committed during the late 1980s.The conviction was handed down at Amersham Crown Court on Friday, January 12, following a comprehensive seven-day trial that examined the disturbing allegations against him.
During the proceedings, the court heard evidence that led to Nicholls being found guilty on multiple counts related to the sexual abuse of two male victims.
The charges included two counts of indecent assault on a male under the age of 14, highlighting the severity of the crimes committed against the younger victim.
Additionally, Nicholls was convicted of two counts of indecency with a child, further emphasizing the nature of his misconduct.
Furthermore, the court found him guilty of one count of indecent assault on a male aged 16, indicating that the abuse extended to an older adolescent as well.
