October 2017 Man hauled before court for committing indecent act in a public place A Bassetlaw man has pleaded guilty to indecently exposing himself in a public place.

Michael Karl Grieger, 31, of Craigston Road, Carlton-in-Lindrick, pleaded guilty to committing a public nuisance by masturbating in public in Worksop on September 22.

Grieger was already the subject of a community order for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour towards another person in January this year.

And the September 22 offence breached a suspended sentence order made by Northampton Magistrates’ Court for possession of a knife last November.

Grieger was sentenced to eight weeks in prison and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge at a hearing at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on October 9.
