Crewe Sexual Abuser
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Crewe, Michael Frederick Dixon, aged 48, has been sentenced to a year in prison after pleading guilty to multiple serious charges involving the exploitation and abuse of young girls. Dixon, who resided on West Street in Crewe, was found guilty of indecent assault, possessing indecent images, and taking and creating indecent photographs of two children aged nine and 13.
The case came to light after a concerned friend of the two young girls informed their mother about inappropriate photographs and images that Dixon had taken. The mother was initially in disbelief, given Dixon's long-standing association with children's charity groups, which made the allegations even more shocking. The police investigation was launched on June 4, leading to a series of disturbing discoveries during a search of Dixon's belongings.
Among the items uncovered by law enforcement officers was a photograph of a naked woman with the face of one of the girls superimposed onto it. Additionally, officers found a video depicting Dixon performing sexual acts on a large cardboard cutout of an adult woman, which also had the face of one of the girls attached to it. These images were particularly troubling because Dixon had taken the photograph of the girl from a family album, manipulated it by superimposing her face onto a naked woman, and then photocopied the image at the community group where he worked.
Further evidence revealed that Dixon had taken other inappropriate photographs of the girls. One showed the younger girl wearing a satin gown draped across her shoulders, exposing her chest, while another image captured him adjusting her gown. These photographs, along with other incriminating material, were found under his pillow in his bedroom, where police also discovered five Alice bands and mini skirts, indicating a disturbing pattern of behavior.
During the court proceedings at Chester Crown Court, Judge Elgan Edwards described Dixon's actions as
