MICHAEL BOCHIECKI CAUGHT IN PETERBOROUGH SEX OFFENCES IN BLACKPOOL
In a significant development in a series of disturbing criminal cases, Michael Bochienski, a 67-year-old resident of Crabtree in Peterborough, has admitted to serious allegations related to child sex offences that took place in the Blackpool area. The admission was made during a court hearing at Preston Crown Court on April 13, where Bochienski pleaded guilty to multiple charges involving attempts to engage a minor in sexual activities.
According to court records, Bochienski's offences occurred between August 2019 and January 2020, during which he targeted a girl he believed to be under the age of 13, named Molly.
Unbeknownst to him, the individual he was communicating with was not a young girl but members of paedophile hunter groups operating to catch individuals attempting to exploit minors.
Despite this, Bochienski's actions included attempts to initiate sexual communication with the supposed underage girl, which he now admits to having done.
Specifically, Bochienski pleaded guilty to four separate offences.
These included attempting to encourage a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, attempting to incite a child to perform sexual acts, and attempting to cause a child to engage in sexual activity.
These charges highlight the gravity of his intentions and the serious nature of his conduct.
However, Bochienski maintained his innocence on five other charges, which involved attempts to persuade a minor to view sexual images.
These charges included asking the girl to look at pictures of his genitals and attempting to get her to perform a sexual act on herself.
His not guilty pleas to these charges suggest a complex legal situation that will be addressed in future proceedings.
Bochienski's initial court appearance took place at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court on November 24 of the previous year.
He is scheduled to return to court on July 14 for sentencing, where the full extent of his penalties will be determined.
The case continues to draw attention due to the serious nature of the allegations and the involvement of paedophile hunters who played a role in uncovering the offences.
