ISLE OF WIGHT TEACHING ASSISTANT DENIES GROOMING CHILD AT SCHOOL

An Isle of Wight teaching assistant denies grooming a 15-year-old boy and ‘intentionally touching’ him in a sexual manner.

Ms Rock, of Arctic Road in Cowes, attended the IW Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 14.

The 33-year-old denied adult abuse of position of trust - sexual activity with a boy and meeting a boy under 16 years of age following grooming.

Court heard she allegedly groomed a 15-year-old boy between October 31 and November 6, 2023, leading to ‘intentional sexual touching’ at her home.

The case was sent to the IW Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on December 8.

Ms Rock was granted unconditional bail.

Cowes Enterprise College has clarified that the defendant has never worked at Cowes Enterprise College.
