2002: MAN JAILED FOR SEX FROLICS WITH TEENS
A 21-year-old welder named Matthew Millward from Roundoaks, Lower Sapey, near Worcester, received a four-month prison sentence after admitting to two counts each of unlawful sexual intercourse and indecent assault. He used text messages to lure two 14-year-old girls into sexual acts, arranging meetings with them.
Millward engaged in sexual activity with one girl inside her car and at her residence when her parents were not home.
The girl reported to police that they had been involved in sexual acts approximately 20 times, with condoms supplied by her friends.
The second girl was groped by Millward, who placed his hand inside her trousers inside an industrial building.
He was detained on July 9 of the previous year, initially denying the allegations but later admitting guilt after DNA evidence was collected.
Additionally, he was ordered to register as a sex offender for seven years.
The judge emphasized that Millward’s misconduct was motivated by selfish reasons and that it caused significant distress to the victims and their families.
