AYLESBURY PERVERT MATTHEW HOFFMAN JAILED FOR ONLINE GROOMING OF 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL
In a case that has shocked the local community of Aylesbury, Matthew Hoffman, aged 28, has been sentenced to prison for engaging in sexual activities with a minor through online communications.The incident involved grooming a 15-year-old girl over the internet, despite Hoffman being fully aware of her underage status.
The offences took place between December 2012 and April 2013, during which Hoffman maintained an inappropriate and manipulative online relationship with the young girl.
Hoffman, a resident of St Hilda’s Court in Aylesbury, was convicted after a thorough investigation that uncovered his deliberate efforts to exploit the girl for his own sexual gratification.
The court heard that Hoffman’s actions were not only illegal but also deeply damaging to the victim’s well-being.
As a result of his conviction, he was sentenced to 21 months in prison and will be required to register as a sex offender for the next ten years, reflecting the severity of his misconduct.
Detective Constable Carl Wilson, who led the investigation, expressed his satisfaction with the outcome, stating, “This was a lengthy investigation which found that Hoffman had groomed an underage girl for his own sexual gratification.
I am pleased with the sentence, which reflects the seriousness of this offence.” Earlier in January 2015, Hoffman had already admitted to engaging in sexual activity with the girl over the internet, further confirming his guilt.
He appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court, where he pleaded guilty to the charge of ‘sexual activity in the presence of a child.’ The court scheduled his sentencing for February 16, 2015, emphasizing the ongoing legal process and the community’s concern over online exploitation of minors.
