MAN SPARED JAIL FOR POSSESSION OF CHILD AND HORSE PORN
A paedophile with thousands of indecent images of children and extreme horse porn has been spared jail.
Matthew Gould was caught by Devon and Cornwall Police in possession of almost 3,000 indecent images of children on his electronic devices including 16 stills of category A, the worst of its kind, as well as nine category B images and 2,857 category C images.
Officers searching the 52-year-old's phone and computer extreme pornographic images of a person have oral sex with a live horse.
Gould, from Higher Chapel Street, Looe, pleaded guilty to the charges when he appeared before magistrates court.
He was sentenced to a community order with five days of rehabilitation activity, 150 hours of unpaid work.
He will be on the sex offenders' register for five years and restriction on accessing the internet will also be in place.
