In a case that has drawn significant attention in the Banbridge community, Martin McKnight, a 62-year-old resident of Mount Charles in Banbridge, appeared before Newry Crown Court to face serious allegations involving sexual misconduct.

McKnight pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to sexual offences committed against a child, leading to a sentencing that, while severe, ultimately resulted in a suspended prison term.
