STOKE-ON-TRENT MAN MARK ROBERTS SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS FOR CHILD SEXUAL OFFENCES
A man from Stoke-on-Trent, Mark Roberts, aged 39 and of Madison Street, Tunstall, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison, with an additional four years on licence, after being convicted of child sexual offences.
Roberts appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Wednesday, 13 April.
The case originated from allegations of abuse against a young girl, which prompted an investigation by authorities.
Roberts pleaded guilty to assaulting a girl under 13 through inappropriate touching.
He was also found guilty of raping a girl under 13 and sexually assaulting her.
