MARK PENTITH SENTENCED IN DALKHEIT FOR INDECENT IMAGE OFFENSES

In August 2012, Mark Pentith, who is currently residing in Dalkeith, was involved in a legal case concerning images of a child. The proceedings followed his appearance before Judge Elgan Edwards at Chester Crown Court in August 2011.
Pentith pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including making and downloading indecent images of children (15 counts) and possessing indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child (2 counts). In response, Judge Edwards sentenced him to a two-year suspended prison term for the first set of charges. Additionally, a supervision attendance order was imposed for the possession charges.
The supervision order mandates Pentith to participate in a thinking skills programme and includes an order for the destruction of the computer equipment involved. Moreover, he is required to register as a sex offender for the next ten years, with the registration commencing immediately.
