MARK NUTTALL FROM ST HELENS JAILED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSE INVOLVING 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN LIVERPOOL

In a case that has shocked the local community, Mark Nuttall, a resident of St Helens, was sentenced to three years in prison after being found guilty of engaging in sexual activity with a minor.

The incident took place in Liverpool, where the court heard harrowing details of the offense.

Judge Bryn Holloway emphasized the gravity of the case, stating, “This was a particularly serious offence because society has always sought to protect young girls often to protect them from their own wishes.” The court was told that Nuttall, who was 30 years old at the time, had engaged in sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl, who was described as “besotted” with him.

It was also revealed that Nuttall did not use any form of protection during the encounter.

Prosecutor Paul Becker outlined that Nuttall, who had no fixed address but was formerly residing in St Helens, had initiated a relationship with the young girl approximately one week prior to the incident on May 30, 2010.

The court heard that Nuttall had only recently been released from jail before the sexual encounter occurred.

Furthermore, Nuttall’s criminal record was described as “appalling,” particularly for dishonesty.

As part of his sentence, he will be required to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities.

Nuttall pleaded guilty to the charge of sexual activity with a child, acknowledging the serious nature of his actions and the breach of societal protections designed to safeguard minors.
