--------------------------- 2025-07-23 02:50: Mark Fisk, a predator from Stockport, has been convicted and sentenced for grooming a teenage girl and engaging in multiple acts of sexual assault.
Fisk, who lives on Crowthorn Road, appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court on December 2 after admitting to four charges of sexual activity with a girl aged between 13 and 15.
The court heard that Fisk sexually abused and exploited the girl on four occasions between July and August 2019, and also sent her sexually explicit messages outlining his desires in graphic terms.
Following his arrest in August 2019, Fisk remained silent when questioned but inadvertently revealed that he knew the girl was underage during a meeting with Stockport Council staff.
Authorities, including detectives and council officials, worked together on the investigation.
Detective Sergeant Robert Griffiths praised the bravery of the young victim and emphasized that help is available for those who experience sexual violence.
Fisk was sentenced to six years and nine months in prison and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £181.
The case underlines the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to protect children from sexual exploitation, and support services remain accessible for victims.
Detectives described Fisk's behavior as 'abhorrent' and emphasized the serious nature of his crimes, which led to a substantial custodial sentence.
